Half Moon Market Spring Event
A twice annual, weekend-long handmade marketplace event in Albany’s historic Washington Park Lake House.
The market is named for the Half Moon, the ship famously captained by Henry Hudson in 1609. The Half Moon sailed up the river as far as the present day location of Albany, New York. A replica of the ship was docked in the Port of Albany until 2014, when it was relocated to the Netherlands.
The Half Moon Market is independently organized with support from the City of Albany and The Washington Park Neighborhood Association, as well as several community sponsors. We are proud to feature close to 50 regional makers, artists and small companies offering handmade jewelry, ceramics, stationery, clothing, herbal apothecary and more, as well as a few local food & drink vendors.
